AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS (AMA) 2012

               The American Music Awards, (AMA) is an annual American music awards show in which the awarded winners are determined by a poll of the public and music buyers.

               The biggest names in American pop music went to battle it out November 18 at the 40th Annual American Music Awards in Hollywood. The night was filled with fantastic performances starting with an electrifying performance from Usher to a memorable performance from Psy and Mc Hammer.


               This year included a brand new category, Electronic Dance Music. Justin Bieber won all three of his nominations, Nicki Minaj won two and Rihanna won one of their four nominations, while Taylor Swift earned her 11th AMA. Heidi Klum who dazzled in a gold leaf mini dress by Alexandre Vauthier hosted the awards show.

PHILIPPINE FLAG

               The flag is a symbol of the Republic of the Philippines, an emblem of national sovereignty, of national unity and cohesion.

The blue field stands for common unity and the noble desires of the Filipino people. 

The white triangle with equal sides of the flag is symbolic of equality among men. 
The white field stands for purity. 
The sun stands for the gigantic strides that have been made by the Sons of the land on the road to progress and civilization. 
The eight rays of the sun in the triangle represent the first eight united provinces that revolted for independence - Batangas, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, Manila, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga and Tarlac. 
The three stars in the triangle stand for the three major geographical divisions of the country which are Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. 
The red field symbolizes the eagerness of the Filipino people to shed blood in defense for their country.

               Our national flag is considered as the country’s priceless legacy of the 1896 Revolution. The least thing we could possibly do is to respect and abide by the rules of our country.

               You've been my best friend, you've offered much of your time tutoring me in my Math assignments, you are my secret keeper, there had also been times that you are a shoulder to cry on, a true sister that anyone should envy.

               Even though there had been times that we fight over petty problems, sometimes you annoy me, nothing will change. You will always be my dear sister.

               During cold nights, you will wrap me in your arms for me to feel comfortable. When things go wrong you were always there to comfort me and assuring that everything will be fine. You've been my inspiration in everything that I do.

PHENOMENIALL

                Why do you always have to ask why I admire Niall? Dealing with personal appearance ... he may not be that good looking, he may not be as charismatic as the other members of One Direction, he may look so common to others and nothing about him is special. And 83% of 1D fans wouldn't care if he quit their group but I will be one of the 17% that would fall on the floor crying.

               Why so? That is because he is a guitarist - a great one, a good singer-performer, he is cute, amazing, sweet, funny, witty, an animal lover, and definitely exceptional.

               He is known as "The Funny One" in the group and is the only Irish member of One Direction.

               Niall was into music from a young age, from about 5 or 6. He started playing the guitar when he was twelve, and one year later he entered the school's talent show, singing The Script's "The Man That Can't Be Moved". He didn't win, but got a lot of local press and good comments. He also entered a small local competition, where he was singing Chris Brown's 'With You', this time he won. This only shows how he worked hard for him to be where he is now.

RAINY WEDNESDAY

Every day is a new beginning,

Take a deep breath in rainy morning and START AGAIN!

  
It's freezing cold this morning  and how I wish I'd stay in my bed but of course, I need to get up. That's because I have this so-called "SCHOOLING". 


 MY DAILY ROUTINE (every school day morning):
6:30 - Waking up
6:45 - Getting out of bed and opening the television  (to watch MyxPH Daily Top 10)
    6:50 - Eating breakfast
7:00-7:20 - Taking a bath and preparing for school 
7:25 - Off to school

You may be wondering why I wake up late, oh well our school is just a stone throw away from our house. Quite an advantage huh?

It's a rainy Wednesday yet I did enjoy walking under the rain with my "cisterettes" and had a very nice time eating after school with them.
